The Middle East has already endured “enough violence” amid fears of an escalation in conflict due to tensions between Iran and the US, said a UAE humanitarian champion. Dr Abdul Salam Al Madani issued a plea for peace on the sidelines of a press conference held to launch this year’s Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development (Dihad) Week, which is taking place in March.
