Lala Darchinova is an SJD candidate at the European University Institute and holds an LL.M. in Comparative Constitutional Law from Central European University. Her research interests include feminist, decolonial and critical theory; and re-thinking of state, politics and law applying methodologies offered by these worldviews. She has been involved in peacebuilding and conflict analysis for the past five years. She is currently affiliated with the Feminist Peace Collective and Imagine Dialogue and Conflict Transformation Center. Previously, she worked as a policy specialist at the United Nations Office in Azerbaijan.
